Government Lal Shyam Shah College, Manpur
Government Lal Shyam Shah College was established on December 1, 1989 in a tribal populated remote area in Manpur to provide the higher education to tribal population. The college is affiliated to Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya,.
Durg, (C.G.). The college got recognition under UGC 2(F) on 01.09.1998 and UGC 12 (B) 01.09.1998. The college is named to honour the local king of Korchha state (presently spread over Manpur-Mohala area). The College is located in Manpur Village; about 100 km southwards from the district headquarter Rajnandgaon. It fulfils the higher educations needs of large tribal population settled in nearby forest areas spread over 600 square km. The College is spread over 16.07 acre. (6.43 hectare). It has own building and other facilities for the students.
